Applications

The Agilent 4150 TapeStation is a platform for sizing, quantification and quality control of DNA, RNA and proteins. Some applications are:

• RNA/gDNA quality check including RIN/DIN calculation
• Size and quantity control for next generation sequencing libraries

Details

The TapeStation has a scalable throughput allowing to measure 1 to 16 samples per run. The workflow is simple and results are obtained in as little as one minute per sample.

The following ScreenTapes are available at GDC. Other ScreenTapes (HS RNA, D5000, Genomic DNA, Protein) can be ordered on request.

RNA ScreenTape:

• RNA ScreenTape for Eukaryotes and Prokaryotes (total 25-500ng/ul in concentration, sizing range 100 to 6000nt, total volume required 1 microliter)

DNA ScreenTape:


• D1000 ScreenTape (dsDNA fragments from 35-1000 bp, qualitative range 0.1-50ng/ml, total volume required 1 microliter)

• High sensitivity D1000 ScreenTape (for low concentrated dsDNA samples from 35-1000bp, qualitative range 10-1000pg/microliter, total volume required 2 microliter)
• High sensitivity D5000 ScreenTape (for low concentrated dsDNA samples from 100-5000bp, qualitative range 10-1000pg/microliter, total volume required 2 microliter)

Reservation

The TapeStation can be reserved via the electronic reservations system. Login with the eth login and password. Use the project number and name when entering reservations and only reserve the exact timeslots needed.
